Introducing the event team
We shared the experiences and issues of the University students with backgrounds in many different countries, and explained our personal views on "gender".


Ice breaker activities
University students and high school students got over their nervousity by participating in "human bingo"
Mini lecture from Professor Kamano
A mini lecture was conducted by professor Kamano, who works at Waseda University. The lecture became a way for high school student participants to experience University life for themselves.


Mini quiz
Participants were split into teams,and answered questions about perceptions about "gender".
Group discussion
University students and high school students were assigned groups and discussed gender issues together. Everyone spoke from their own experiences and thoughts, be it as students who had attended high school in Fukui prefecture, or those who were brought up or studied outside of Japan.

Everyone shared what they had discussed within their own groups
We had individual Q&A sessions for students who are planning to attend university, and distributed university pamphlets to those who wanted.
